A beautiful March day....

Yesterday, Saturday March 24 was a beautiful day. The temp topped at 83 and a gentle breeze blew. I started working in the yard about 11 am and lasted until 3:30 pm. A lot of work done and the yard looks great. Here are some pics... I believe you can double click on the pic and you will get a bigger pic in a separate window.

The front looks good! Even had some of my flags out for color...US, Bavaria, Lithuania and Ireland.

The full view of the front. My rose bush needs a bit of trimming I think.

My bleeding heart in the garden popped up quick. It's not a great pic, but you can see it if you strain your eyes.

Here are some of my red Dianthus in the back. I planted these at least 10 years ago and they keep on growing. They die back and will get full again in June!

I have a pear tree in the middle of the back yard. It has beautiful blossoms. The pears are great too, if the squirrels and birds don't get them all before they ripen.

See, the blossoms are perfect!

That all the pics for now. I want to make this a good pic journal. Unfortunately, it's hard to add the pics and move them around. I'll have to read up more and see if there is an easier way...there always is!

Have a great Monday!
